Niobe, in real life

I’ve always had a way with words. It either got me into trouble or got me a good grade. When I was younger I would keep journals, write poems and letters. Passed notes in class and had pen pals. I reluctantly will admit I had a Zanga site in middle school and I love emails (weird fact). Sometimes I feel like I can’t truly express myself unless I write them down. Express them in some type of artistic way. Whether through words, or art, or pictures, or fashion.. that is how I express myself. For as long as I can remember, I always wanted to start a blog. Now here I am, at the age of 26, finally taking the time to do something I’ve longed to do. I don’t know why I waited so long honestly. But here I am, embarking on this journey. Putting my thoughts, ideas, and opinions out there for the world to read. Hopefully someone will find this stuff useful someday.

This blog will be about me, my girls, fashion, food, and San Diego. The city I’ve grown to call my home. The things I enjoy the most. DIYs, beauty, life, and some straight up blunt realness. My journey through “Modern Motherhood” as I would call it. We live in such a different time. Nothing is more powerful than the value of YOU. Women are empowered. Social media has taken over. What a time to be alive!

Being born and raised on a tiny island, Saipan, has nurtured me. But living in a big flourishing city like San Diego has taught me. Having two children has changed me. And I feel like my life has more meaning now than it ever has. Stick around and you can learn more about Niobe, in real life.
